Motorola expands G series family in Australia with the G84 5G at just $399!

We’re spoiled for choice when it comes to great brands, great value and well featured smartphones in Australia and today that choice got greater with the launch of the Motorola G84 5G.

This device celebrates 10 years of the moto g family and while the features, design and colours of this device have flagship feelings, this is just $399!

It’s a 6.5 inch ultrawide Full HD+ display, as well as packing great sound. In the hand it’s slim, a very modern design and the back is the same vegan leather feel that the Moto Razr 40 Ultra has, so it’s premium folks!

Colour wise, no mucking around, moto teamed up with the colour company Pantone for their hero colour here, the Viva Magenta and it’s a great look.

Kurt Bonnici, Head of Motorola Greater Asia Pacific said, “This month we celebrate the 10th anniversary of our moto g family, the series that kick started the premium mid-tier market in Australia. We are proud to have sold over 200 million moto g units worldwide since 2013 and it is clear that consumers are continuing to look for more budget-friendly options without compromising on features or sacrificing on design.

Including both a stunning design and performance to match, today we’re excited to announce the availability of the moto g84 5G in Australia, a smartphone that delivers experiences and features typically found in flagship tier products but at a much more accessible price. Including dual SIM, NFC for contactless payments, 5G and a combination of 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage, the moto g84 5G delivers a huge amount of value for Australian consumers at this price.

Alongside the recently launched moto g14 and moto g54 5G, the moto g84 5G completes Motorola’s moto g family new additions for 2023, giving consumers access to the latest technology at a range of accessible price points and in an array of colour options and finishes.”

Being 5G, this device lacks no capabilities, and, it can even be your PC too with the Moto Connect feature outputting a PC like desktop on compatible monitors or screens.

You can even use the Moto G84 camera as your Webcam on video calls!

For families, hand your phone over to the kids safely with “Family Space” so you don’t have to worry what the kids are up to, and also protect your important apps and files with a Moto Secure folder.

There is so much to unpack about this device. A 5,000mAh battery with included 30W charging mean you’re always ready to go.

The Dark Blue and Red versions of the G84 will be on sale at JB HiFi, Harveys, Officeworks, The Good Guys, Bing Lee, Big W and Amazon, while the light blue color will be Exclusive to JB HiFi.
