As CES kicks off this week, Sennheiser have unveiled their latest high-performance audio devices with the announcement of the all-new MOMENTUM True Wireless 4, ACCENTUM Plus, and MOMENTUM Sport.
The Momentum True Wireless 4 earbuds offer unparalleled sound with improvements across the board over the last model.
Sennheiser are including new technology including Qualcomm’s Sound Gen 2 platform, which supports Snapdragon Sound and aptX lossless sound quality and low-latency. The buds include Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast support included.
The earbuds include an improved Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation algorithm, as well as evolved tuning and an upgraded battery system – featuring up to 7.5 hours of continuous listening and a charge case that can be charged wirelessly or via USB-C.
The earbuds will come in three colour options: black copper, metallic silver, and graphite and are available for preorder now for 9.95 at sennheiser-hearing.com.
For a more fitness focused earbud, Sennheiser have announced the Momentum Sport with built-in biometric sensors.
The earbuds can supply real-time biometric feedback thanks to the photoplethysmography (PPG) heart rate sensor and body temperature sensor which can output data to popular fitness apps and devices including Apple Watch/Health, Garmin Watch/Connect, Strava, Peloton and for the first time ever, users will be able to view data in the Polar Flow app.
The Momentum Sport earbuds include Active Noise Cancellation with Transparency and Anti-wind modes, with an additional acoustic relief channel to offset footstep noise, breathing and other distractions, as well as a semi-open design for natural environmental awareness.
The Momentum Sport buds can give you up to 6 hours continuous playback and are IP55 sweat and water resistant so you can push your workouts hard without worry, while the charge case, which carries up to an additional 18 hours of charge, gets an IP54 rating.
You’ll be able to pick up a pair of Momentum Sport from April/May this year for 9.95AUD in one of three colours: Polar Black, Burned Olive, and Metallic Graphite
For those wanting a new pair of over-ear cans, the new ACCENTUM Plus offers a premium headphone listening experience with great features.
The headphones include Bluetooth 5.2 with support for aptX Adaptive and while they’re great wireless, there’s an audio cable for connecting in places like planes. The headphones include multipoint connectivity for seamlessly connecting to multiple devices, as well as Active Noise Cancellation including Wind-Reduction and adjustable side-tone.
The headphones include a travel case for storage when not in use and will be available in both black and white.
***UPDATE*** The Accentum Plus headphones from Sennheiser will be available February 5 for 9.95 AUD / 9.95NZD at select retailers and at sennheiser-hearing.com.
