In 2024 the title of Australia’s biggest TV will be handed over to TCL who have confirmed their 115 inch QD-Mini LED TV is coming to Australia later this year.
As part of their extensive Mini LED display at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, this monster TV is front and centre and while often that means it’s just for show – not so here. TCL’s Jason Carrick confirmed to EFTM on the show floor that it’s coming and will be the record holder.
It offers over 20,000 local dimming zones, and a staggering 5,000 nits of peak brightness – the X955 model has advanced tech to create a cracking 4K screen.
“TCL’s stand at this year’s coveted Consumer Electronics Show is arguably the best we’ve ever had,” says Jason Carrick, TCL General Manager – Sales. “The 1672-sqm space showcases our latest innovations across all categories and it’s clear from retailer feedback that they are excited for TCL’s future, especially with the impending arrival of its pioneering 115-inch QD-Mini LED TV.”
Carrick also confirmed the TCL range in Australia will feature two levels of Mini LED tech – the new more advanced lighting system will come to the 800 series with the rest offering Mini LED across an extensive range of TVs.
There’s more to come too, with Fridges, Washers, Dryers and more – details to come in the months ahead.
Take it from me though, this 115 inch monster is something to behold.
