ASUS Vivobook S15 is their first Copilot Plus PC and it’s up for pre-order now

After a flurry of manufacturer announcements following Microsoft’s announcement of the Copilot+ platform yesterday, ASUS Australia have today taken the wraps of their entry. the Vivobook S15 available to pre-order in Australia from today.

Coming in a thin and light body weighing in at just 1.42kg,  the Vivobook S15, like the rest of the Copilot_+ models, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite processor with the Hexagon NPU capable of 45 terabyte operations per second (TOPS) enabling on-device AI.

The system is paired with up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and an impressive 32GB of lighting-fast 8448 MHz LPDDR5X memory with a 70WHr battery offering all-day battery life up to over 18 hours of life. 

There’s a large 15.6″ 3K resolution ASUS Lumina OLED display capable of up to 120Hz refresh on board, which is paired with Harmon Kardon tuned speakers which come with Dolby Atmos support. 

Of course the Vivobook S15 includes a good array of I/O ports, including two USB4 ports, HDMI out and full-sized USB Type-A ports, as well as support for Wifi 7 to ensure super fast connectivity no matter where you are. 

There’s a spacious mood-setting single zone RGB keyboard on the Vivobook S15, which includes a dedicated Copilot key on the right, giving you fast access to AI when you need it. 

AI Features

The Vivobook S15 will support all the Microsoft AI features announced yesterday including Recall, their tool which can track down projects, apps, documents, or messages you’ve previously worked on by using a simple prompt. The Vivobook S15 will also support a range of ASUS AI apps including:

  • ASUS StoryCube: An AI-powered digital asset-management tool, which can automatically organise photos and videos.
  • ASUS AI Noise Cancellation:  This leverages a deep-learning database to reduce background noise in meetings and calls, for clear audio.
  • ASUS Adaptive Dimming: A technology that recognises when a user looks away and dims the screen, which helps to maintain power consumption.
  • ASUS Adaptive Lock: With this feature, the laptop will be automatically locked when the user moves away and unlocked when they return, helping to ensure greater security.
