Popular headphone and audio brand Beats has announced an expansion of it’s family of audio products with an all new set of in-ear buds the Beats Solo Buds as well as a next-generation set of the Solo over-ear headphones the Beats Solo 4.

The new Beats Solo Buds are the smallest form factor Beats ever released with 18 hours of battery life and one-touch pairing for Apple and Android users.

These in-ear headphones will be available in June in Australia for an immensely respectable and competitive price of $129.95 in four colours, Matte Black, Storm Gray, Arctic Purple and Transparent Red.

Meanwhile the new Solo 4 over-ears have a personalised spatial audio profile with dynamic head tracking and comfortable plush cushions and a staggering 50 hours of battery life.

The Beats Solo 4 come in Matte Black, Slate Blue and Cloud Pink.

Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music, Apple TV+, Sports, and Beats says “Our newly expanded Solo line delivers remarkable value, offering exceptional sound quality, battery life and comfort in our most portable designs,”

“Beats Solo 4 takes our bestselling headphone to the next level with outstanding performance upgrades, and the all-new Beats Solo Buds pack impressive power in our smallest product yet.”

The company says their Buds are of course Ergonomically designed with laser-cut vents to improve audio performance and relieving pressure for additional comfort. Four tip sizes allow you to get the right fit for your ear to get the best comfort and passive noise isolation.

They feature dual-layer transducers which are there to minimise “micro-distortions” across the frequency curve to allow for hi-fi sound with great clarity.

Taking into consideration our need for more than just great music, each Beats Solo Buds earbud has custom microphones along with a noise-learning algorithm for great call quality too.

Class 1 Bluetooth also means better range from your device when pumping the tunes.

The “b” button on the side of each bud can be customised to control music or activate voice assistant commands or volume within the Beats app.

Weighing just 217 Grams the Beats Solo 4 are ultra comfortable to wear for extended periods, particularly possible thanks to the 50 hours battery life with a 10 minute charge powering an additional 5 hours when you let it run low.

Re-engineered for a new level of acoustics, the Solo 4’s feature custom 40mm transducers to minimise latency and distortion, along with excellent clarity adn range.

Plus, the Solo 4’s now feature Personalised Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking.

On-ear controls include the “b” button for managing your music and calls, while volume buttons are above and below that “b”.

Beats Solo 4 will retail for $329.95 in Australia.
