Film is back – JB Hi-Fi launches 35mm Co reusable cameras for $119.95

For many of us it’s a flashback to our childhood, but for Madi Stefanis this was a hobby born out of a love for vintage cameras that has become a thriving business which now finds it’s products in the massive JB Hi-Fi retail empire.

Madi had the idea after selling an old SLR Film camera for five times the asking price – seeing the gap in the market she started flipping vintage cameras, and then developed her very own reusable cameras.

Kicked off during the pandemic, 35mm Co cracked $2 million in turnover in its first year – so people are keen.

You can now buy a brand new but fully retro 35mm camera from JB Hi-Fi for just $119.95.

Madi Stefanis says “The 35mm Co team is so excited to officially launch into JB Hi-Fi stores, allowing us to bring analog photography to a broader range of Australians. To have my product available in such an iconic and legendary retailer like JB Hi-Fi is absolutely surreal and a real pinch-me moment. Slow consumption and meaningful moments guide our brand. We find that everyone can learn how to use a 35mm Co camera in a matter of minutes. Our belief is that shooting film doesn’t need to be something exclusive, difficult, or expensive—it can be a thoughtful gift and a fun way to collect memories that you will cherish forever. I cannot wait to provide even more Australians the opportunity to experience our cameras and help them capture their amazing big life moments on film.”

You’ll find 35mm Co Cameras in Pink, Blue and Green at JB Hi-Fi.

Just remember – Film needs developing, and that’s not as easy as Rabbit One-Hour photo used to be, nor is it as cheap:)
