As we reported last week, Samsung is again giving every athlete at the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games a brand new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Smartphone – pretty cool.
It’s an Olympic Edition, from the etched logos on the back, to the exclusive case and all the packaging.
I’ve now started seeing loads, and loads of athlete unboxing videos on social media.

Now there’s a bit there I keep seeing and pausing on and struggling with, but I think I’ve finally cracked it.
It’s a short message in the startup screen that’s written just to the Athletes. Here’s what it reads:
Welcome to the Olympic & Paralympic games Paris 2024
This is your moment
You the athletes are the heart of the Olympic & Paralympic Movement.
Enjoy your new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6
Wishing you ever success and unforgettable moments in Paris.

Seriously, it’s a very nice touch – could easily have just shipped them with the standard operating system startup, but the extra little touch – nice one.
