Uniden has today unveiled its new App Cam SOLO X range which includes either new wire-free cameras to help secure your home, inside and out.
The new range includes a new video doorbell and various plug-and-play cameras which can be scaled to suit any size home and capture video in 2K Super HD. All camera can be accessed and controlled from within the MyUniden+ App.
With the system there can be no ongoing costs with 7-day rolling cloud coverage along with SD card backup included for free for the lifetime of the product A subscription is available if you wish to extend that coverage to 30 days and use their advanced AI tools.

The range includes the App Cam SOLO X2K which can be added one, two or four cameras at a time with the camera housing a spotlight, heat and movement detection technology, two-way audio via the app, a 120-degree viewing angle and an alert siren. The camera does include a battery which requires charging over time.
The App Cam SOLO X2K Bullet Kit is a spotlight camera which enables Colour Night Vision for 24/7 capturing of crystal clear video. Powered by an included solar panel with mounting components, this outdoor camera is Uniden’s most advanced camera.
The App Cam SOLO X2K Bell Wirefree Video Door Bell is obviously used to protect your front door with colour night vision, 2K SuperHD video capture in a 135-degree viewing angle. Wireless chime alerts are produced by the included speaker so you do not nee dto always have your phone and app handy to hear when someone is at your door.
The App Cam SOLO X2K PT Kit looks like a much more traditional security camera with pan and tilt functionality that encompases 355 degrees of video coverage. It includes a spotlight and solar panel to power it.
The App Cam SOLO X2K 4G Kit is, as the name suggested is a video camera with 4G connectivity and includes a weatherproof solar panel. It also is capable of panning and tilting around 355-degrees.
The Uniden App Cam X25PT is the final new camera unveiled today and is an indoor camera deisgned to blend into your home decor. It is a motion detecting camera with 350-degree pan and 95-degree tilt to track movements within your house and includes two-way audio via the Uniden app.
