Peloton is taking the world by storm with not just their exercise equipment but their entire fitness ecosystem.
Peloton fitness equipment such as the Bike, Bike+, Tread, and Tread+ have had displays which aim to keep you entertained and motivated throughout your workout, no matter how gruelling it is. Now Peloton are partnering with Amazon to allow members to read their Kindle books on the Peloton displays while working out.
A user’s Kindle library can now be accessed from the Entertainment tab in the bottom navigation bar of their Bike, Bike+, Tread, or Tread+ Peloton fitness equipment. The full Kindle integration allows users to pick up where they left off with their book on their Kindle.
The full screen reading experience is optimised for reading while exercising with the ability to change font sizes, apply bookmarks and jumping between chapters easily.
Turning the page is easy with a simple tap on the page allowing you to immerse yourself in your book while working out. As someone who likes to read while on a cross trainer I can tell you that workouts seems to fly by if you are in the midst of a good book.
This new feature is rolling out to select Peloton equipment now so next time you jump on for a workout long into your Kindle account and get reading.
