iPhone 16 set to be announced on September 10

Apple has sent out invitations to their September event titled “It’s Glowtime” with a small shock on the date of the event.

iPhone events are traditionally held on a Tuesday in the USA, and the switch to a Monday seems to be related to the date of the First Harris v Trump presidential debate which is happening on September 10th.

Apple will host the event at the Steve Jobs Theatre at their HQ in Cupertino on September 9th 10am, which is 3am Tuesday 10th on Tuesday Sydney time.

We’re pretty confident the new iPhone will have a dedicated shutter button, and will additionally come in a wide range of new colours.

The “It’s Glowtime” title indicates a strong emphasis on the Apple Intelligence inclusions which see Siri reshaped and in a new look that glows around the edges of the screen.

EFTM will be at the event as a guest of Apple, follow us for all the details in two weeks from now!
