ECOVACS show off upcoming DEEBOT X8, T50 and N30 series cleaning robots at IFA

ECOVACS are showing off the future for their cleaning robots this week with a new family of cleaning robots bringing the best of new and tested tech at a range of price points.

The new family includes the premium DEEBOT X8 family offering a new mop cleaning system developed by partner Tineco. ECOVACS are also introducing their new ultra-slim DEEBOT T50 family and affordable N30 series.

DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI

The new DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI is the star of the X8 family, and is the first in their line to launch with the new integrated mop cleaning system.

The mop cleaning system works as a roller rather than the pads we’ve seen previously on cleaning robots. The OZMO cleaning roller can exert up to 4,000pa of downward pressure to really get rid of those stains, with 16 nozzles constantly keeping the roller wet and clean.

With 13,000pa of suction, the DEEBOT X8 PRO Omni includes their latest anti-tangle roller, as well as an adaptive brush that can extend out into corners to make sure you get every last dust bunny.

The TruEdge 3D Edge sensor and 3D depth-sensing module on-board helps the robot navigate around the house, find stains and make sure they’re gone, even going so far as to re-mop areas if necessary. There’s built-in voice control with the Yiko assistant, or you can use the app to direct it when you need.

The new OMNI station which has been shrunk to fit in better with your home, and now offers features like Temperature-controlled Hot Water Mop Washing, High-temperature Hot Air Drying and Auto Cleaning Solution addition to the water tank.

DEEBOT T50 family

The DEEBOT T50 range will be ultra-slim, with the DEEBOT T50 and DEEBOT T50 Pro Omni featuring a height of just 81mm.

Just as in their X-Series robots, ECOVACS has moved the laser module from the top of the unit into the housing along with other sensors, including TrueEdge 2.0 for obstacle avoidance and navigation.

There’s up to 15,000 Pa of suction on board the DEEBOT T50, with their ZeroTangle 2.0 roller included keeping hair from tangling, as well as including a brush to get into those hard to reach corners.

The OMNI station for the DEEBOT T50 will also include heated water up to 70° and hot air drying to keep the mop pads clean.

DEEBOT N30 Family.

ECOVACS is also announcing the new N30 family of robots, offering the latest tech at a more affordable price. The headliner is the DEEBOT N30 PRO OMNI offering a complete cleaning solution.

As a budget model, ECOVACS have still included a huge bonanza of cleaning tech including their |ZeroTangle Anti-Tangle Technology 2.0 for avoiding hair getting tangled and TruEdge for mapping and Adaptive Edge 2.0 roller which ensures a clean floor everywhere in your home.

Just like their higher end models, the N30 Pro Omni will have an auto self-cleaning OMNI station which includes hot water for cleaning the pads and a hot air dryer to finish. There’s also a new integrated floor cleaning additive capsule, which mixes with the water during the washing process and lasts up to a month.

The N30 Pro OMNI will, like the rest of the ECOVACS range, is run by the app which lets you manage a host of features including suction power, waterflow and cleaning modes and schedules.

We’re staying tuned on launch dates and pricing for this new family of cleaning robots, and we’ll bring you more as soon as ECOVACS has anything to announce.
