Roborock announce the availability of the Qrevo Edge and the Qrevo Curv robot vacuums in Australia, pre-order now

Earlier this year at IFA 2024, Roborock unveiled their latest cleaning robot vacuums, the Qrevo Edge and the Qrevo Curv.  Now they are on their way Downunder.

Both vacuums arrive packed with innovative features, including Roborock’s Dual Anti-Tangle system to ensure cleaning with 100% hair removal with a 0% tangling rate.  Other hair removal features include DuoDivide Main Brush and FlexiArm Arc Side Brush to prevent you from having to perform constant maintenance.

Qrevo Curv

Both the Roborock Qrevo Edge and Qrevo Curv have the industry-first AdaptiLift Chassis, which features independently adjustable three-wheel control, enabling the vacuum’s chassis to be lifted by up to 10mm or elevate specific sections, including the front, rear, left, or right.

This feature also automatically lifts the omni-wheel to cover standard thresholds up to 3cm in height and complex thresholds up to 4cm.  This results in a clean where no space is off-limits and no floor is too challenging to clean.

Qrevo Edge

Other functionalities include:

  • 18,500 Pa HyperForce suction – to tackle embedded dirt, dust, and debris across carpets, hard floors, and gaps easily.
  • Reactive AI Obstacle Recognition – for seamless navigation. Using structured light, RGB cameras, and LiDAR technology, the models can recognise and avoid up to 62 object types, ensuring collision-free cleaning.
  • All-in-One Multifunctional Dock 3.0 – this automates maintenance tasks such as 75°C hot water mop washing, warm air drying, auto dustbin emptying, and auto water tank refilling.

As usual, the vacuum is controlled using the Roborock Smart app allowing the user to set schedules, customise the cleaning routine, and access features such as video calling, and to monitor the cleaning progress in real-time.   There is also a built-in smart assistant, Rocky, that will respond to simple commands to help make cleaning even easier.

Qrevo Edge

The Qrevo Edge and Qrevo Curv are both priced at $2,799. The Qrevo Edge will be available on Roborock Australia’s official retail channels, such as Roborock’s Official Online Store, JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Bing Lee, and other Authorised Retailers starting January 1st 2025.

There is a pre-order bonus available for those who order between now and December 31, 2024.

The Qrevo Curv will be available later in Q1 2025.  Availability details for the Qrevo Curv will be announced soon.

We currently have a Qrevo Edgo on our review bench, so keep an eye out for our thoughts on it later this week.
