If you thought Electric Cars were niche, not a thing – think again. Bunnings isn’t selling a simple EV charging cable, they’re going all-in with a wide range of brands and accessories for EV owners.
Potentially also aimed squarely at the Trade market, sparkies visiting their local Bunnings will twig quickly that they can grab everything they need to install a home charger for their EV owning clients.
My trusty sparky Brad came across this massive display at Bunnings in West Gosford, not just a Tesla Wall charger, but several brands.
In addition, there’s a wide range of CCS2 and CCS2 cables for public chargers, and even some Trickle Chargers (Granny Chargers) so you can charge your EV at any power point.
Not ever Bunnings store will stock them, and certainly not all stores will have as wide of a range as that which we’ve seen here in this example, but it’s a strong offering nonetheless.
Such a wide range of brands, known brands in the EV space like Tesla, as well as known brands in the Electrical Space like Arlec.
Heck, even DeWalt have a wall charger here!
Getting this kind of gear into stores that are just around the corner make EV chargers and charging accessible to more.
We’ve found a large part of the range here on Bunnings Website too – but we’ll be keen to see just how many Bunnings locations get EV chargers!
