ECOVACS unveil innovative robotic home cleaning products at CES 2025 with their most advanced mopping technology ever

ECOVACS has unveiled innovative new robotic home cleaning products at CES 2025, headlined by the new DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI, which features the world’s first mopping system for a robot vacuum.

“Home robotics is a competitive field, but we are proud to be the brand that introduces the most innovative features, often leading the way for others to follow,” said David Qian, Vice Chairman of ECOVACS Group and CEO of ECOVACS ROBOTICS.

The OZMO ROLLER

The flagship DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI from ECOVACS offers an innovative mopping experience with the new OZMO ROLLER Instant Self-Washing Mopping Technology.

To develop the OZMO ROLLER, ECOVACS partnered with TINECO, using their advanced roller technology that brought us the first-floor washer equipped with a roller brush from TINECO.  Now, the DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI incorporates this roller technology into the robot vacuum cleaner for the first time.

The OZMO ROLLER technology improves the vacuum’s pressure and speed, delivering up to 4,000Pa of pressure at 200 RPM to clean the stubbornest stains. ECOVACS then applies its Instant Self-Washing Mopping Technology to the mop roller so that it is cleaned while it works, minimising user intervention and maintenance with zero contamination.

The DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI, which features this new mopping technology paired with a whopping 18,000Pa of suction and ZeroTangle 2.0 technology, is the most advanced DEEBOT ever.

The DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI also includes ECOVACS technologies, such as TruEdge 2.0 technology for edge and corner cleaning with its Adaptive Mop and Side Brush Extension. The new TruEdge 3D Edge Sensor, incorporated in the vacuum, creates a 3D map in real-time to prevent collisions.

It wouldn’t be a new product at CES 2025 without some form of AI, and the DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI  doesn’t disappoint with its AIVI 3D 3.0 to help it recognise basic objects in real-time so that it can navigate your home, however complex it is, for an efficient, intelligent and effective clean.

“Our new releases, led by the DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI, represent our most advanced lineup yet, and we’re excited to unveil them at CES 2025—the birthplace of future technologies,” Qian continued. “The first-ever OZMO ROLLER Mopping Technology in the DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI is a perfect example of our commitment to setting new industry standards. It not only delivers superior cleaning performance with its Instant Self-Washing Mopping technology but also represents a milestone in the evolution of robotic floor care.”

DEEBOT T50 Series

The new DEEBOT T50 family is a new series of robot vacuums from ECOVACS that focuses on excellence at an affordable price. The T50 series robots now have a front-mounted solid-state LiDAR, forgoing the traditional top-mounted mechanical LiDAR. This allows them to fit under much more furniture, resulting in a more thorough clean.

Other advanced technologies included in this affordable series are TruEdge 2.0 Adaptive Edge Cleaning, AIVI 3D 3.0 and ZeroTangle 2.0 technology, offering effective cleaning at a decent price.

The flagship of the new DEEBOT T50 family is the T50 Max which arrives with ECOVACS’ new BLAST (Boosted Large-Airflow Suction Technology).  BLAST uses a combination of Maximized Airflow and Sufficient Vacuum Level to deliver a maximum air volume of 16.3L per second and a suction power of up to 18,500Pa.

This new technology allows the T50 Max to double its Large Particles Pick-Up Rate and boosts its Carpet Dust Cleaning by 93% making it an extremely effective cleaner of your floors.

The T50 PRO OMNI, ECOVACS’ slimmest DEEBOT ever, also joins the new series. It is just 81 mm tall and designed to fit under small spaces such as couches and beds, but it can still clean your entire floor comprehensively.

WINBOT W2 PRO OMNI

At CES 2025, ECOVACS has also announced the new WINBOT W2 PRO OMNI. The WINBOT W2 PRO OMNI elevates your window cleaning solution with improved edge-cleaning, optimised spray coverage and and even more efficient path plan for streak-free results.

The new robot window cleaner includes an innovative portable docking station, allowing it to be charged while cleaning without needing to plug it into a power socket (or include a large battery pack). this new dock allows for a truly hands-free window cleaning experience without having to worry about the battery giving out halfway through its cleaning process.

Alongside the WINBOT W2 PRO OMNI, ECOVACS has announced the smaller WINBOT MINI, the smallest robotic window cleaner ever, weighing just 1.3kg. This smaller size makes it ideal for those who live in apartments or have smaller windows. Now, anyone can get perfectly clean windows without having to lift a finger.

Australian pricing and availability are yet to be announced but keep an eye out for these innovative new products from ECOVACS arriving Downunder in the coming months.
