At CES 2025 HP has announced new solutions and experiences in its OMEN gaming line, including OMEN AI to optimise your gaming performance.
The new gaming desktops, the OMEN16L, 35L, and 45L Desktops, the OMEN Max 16, the OMEN 16 laptop, the Victus 15 gaming laptop, and several new OMEN monitors were among the products announced.
The OMEN MAX 16 is the new gaming laptop from HP designed to deliver smoother gameplay and heightened responsiveness in all games, including AAA titles. It features up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor or AMD Ryzen AI 9 Mobile processors and up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM, allowing for maximum performance. Performance and power can be optimised through the new Unleashed Mode in the OMEN Gaming Hub.
The laptop is equipped with the new NVIDIA Blackwell GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, which offer gamers and creators new capabilities and a massive amount of AI horsepower.
The new hardware allows the user to access NIM Microservices– state-of-the-art AI models that let enthusiasts and developers build AI assistants, agents, and workflows with peak performance.
The new sleek laptop features OMEN Cryo Compound, a hybrid material that combines liquid metal and metal grease to improve heat dissipation and prevent leaks. It also features OMEN Tempest Cooling Pro architecture to improve cooling.
The new OMEN 16 laptop from HP offers smooth, immersive gaming in a whisper-quiet environment thanks to new advanced thermal solutions to not just cool effectively but to significantly reduce fan noise. The cooling solutions include a revamped fan module, IR sensor, new thermal material and an increased air flow with more blades and an extra heat pipe.
The OMEN 16L desktop delivers an immersive and powerful gaming experience in a compact package. Complete with Intel Core Ultra 7 or AMD Ryzen 7 processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPU or AMD Radeon RX 7600 graphics, this new compact desktop offers extreme gaming performance without taking up too much room.
With multiple fans and two CPU heat pipes, the desktop will remain cool under pressure, allowing you to continue gaming at peak levels for longer.
The Victus 15 laptop, OMEN 35L desktop and OMEN 45L desktops will all see upgrades to their lineup.
The Victus 15 is now available in more colours and will arrive with Type-C 100W charging, a second SSD slot, an upgraded FHD IR camera, and Windows Hello capabilities to deliver smoother gameplay and improved productivity.
The desktops will be upgraded to include the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, which will further increase their peak performance.
The new OMEN 32X smart gaming monitor joins other OMEN gaming monitors in offering crisp visuals and smooth gameplay. The OMEN 32X enables cloud and smart experiences with gaming performance with OMEN’s first Google TV, smart gaming monitor.
It features a 4K UHD 144Hz display and can offer a smooth gaming experience, streaming, cloud gaming, and smart home apps all from the same monitor. It supports all gaming platforms, including consoles, laptops, and desktops, and all peripherals, including Android phones.
The HyperX high-performance mouse lineup is being expanded with the new Pulsefire Saga Mice. These mice allow gamers to personalise their mouse not only for optimised performance but also for their own individual look and feel.
The Pulsefire Sage Mice arrive in the box with eight interchangeable parts. For creative people, a 3D print file on Printables.com allows you to customise it yourself using your 3D printer.
The Saga Pro is the new wireless version, offering dual wireless connectivity and Instant Pair with OMEN laptops without the need for a dongle.
OMEN AI is now available in Beta for everyone to try. It is an AI designed to help you optimise your gaming experience. It offers a personalised, one-click solution tailored to each game, so you don’t have to search forums and websites to find and achieve optimal FPS and more.
OMEN AI will offer OS, hardware, and game settings based on your gaming setup and the game being played, eliminating the need to perform time-consuming troubleshooting and optimisation yourself.
The AI-powered game learning program continually adapts and improves over time based on what it sees occurring in-game. It launches now with support for Counter-Strike 2 with more popular titles coming in the weeks ahead.
