LG unveils its AI-powered 2025 gram laptop series at CES 2025

LG will unveil its 2025 LG gram lineup at CES 2025, its first foray into the on-device AI-powered laptop world.

The new models being revealed include the gram Pro, gram Pro 2-in-1, gram, and gram Book and promise to deliver high-end performance while keeping with the slim and lightweight design associated with the LG gram series.

The 2025 gram laptops present a smarter, more secure and highly personalised user experience through LG’s innovative gram AI.

LG gram AI

The 2025 LG gram laptops all include gram AI, which uses AI algorithms to process and analyse data locally on the device. They can also access cloud-based AI services via gram chat Cloud, powered by GPT-4o.

This hybrid AI solution is designed to enhance productivity by providing personalised insights and a comprehensive knowledge base. The various AI solutions include gram Chat On-Device and gram Chat Cloud

The new 2025 LG gram laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra H-Series (Arrow Lake) and Intel Core Ultra V-Series (Lunar Lake) processors, which provide more computing power, improved graphics processing, and improved overall performance. The Lunar Lake models are equipped with Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC functionality for even greater productivity.

At the forefront of the 2025 lineup is the LG gram Pro (model 17Z90TR), a laptop that presents the best of performance and portability.

The gram models

The flagship of the gram lineup in 2025 is the LG gram Pro (model 17Z90TR), which delivers the best performance and portability in a gram design. Powered by an Arrow Lake CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card, this laptop effortlessly handles even the most demanding tasks, from gaming to graphics editing.

A newcomer to the lineup this year is the LG gram Pro (model 16Z90TS), the first Copilot+ PC in the gram series.  In keeping with the gram design language it is just 12.4mm thick and weighs just 1.24kg, making extremely portable and lightweight.

A new LG gram Pro 2-in-1 (model 16T90TP) (winner of a CES 2025 Innovation Award) offers flexibility and includes a wirelessly chargeable stylus pen to improve the user experience even more.

LG is also introducing the LG gram Book (model 15U50T) as an entry-level model in the gram series, making it more accessible to more people. The gram Book has a  15.6-inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) display, expandable storage options, a 720p HD webcam with privacy shutter, and the usual slim, lightweight design expected of a gram laptop.

2025 LG gram products, featuring advanced gram AI, are powerful, portable productivity companions that can understand users’ needs, intelligently utilize relevant information, and enhance workflow,” said YS Lee, vice president and head of the IT Business Unit, LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. “LG is committed to delivering premium-quality laptops that harness the latest AI technologies to enable users to do and achieve more.”

Local availability and pricing will be supplied in the coming weeks.
