Belkin’s push into the world of consumer Audio products began several years ago and since then they’ve released a wide range of products from in-ear to over-ear headphones. Today two new over-ear headphones launch and their value is beyond sensational.
The Belkin SoundForm Isolate is an over-ear headphone with Active Noise Cancellation with an additional little party trick we’ll get to later. Those are just $89.95. if ANC isn’t your beat, then the SoundForm Surround still have a physical noise cancellation thanks to the over-ear design, a great design and a $69.95 price tag.
Both models were designed at Belkin’s California HQ – a place I’ve visted, where iterations of the design, materials and features would have been tested and trialled – including the packaging (Which is plastic free).
Despite not being a pure Audio company, Belkin has a “Signature Sound” integrated across these products which Belkin describes as a balanced Deep Bass, clear vocals, crisp treble.
These are the first over-ear headphone from Belkin to feature Active Noise Cancellation and to offer that at this price is a huge opportunity for people not looking to spend hundreds of dollars on headphones.
But thinking about why people put on headphones, to escape their reality right? Well Belkin has built-in a “Relaxation” track that just loops in your ears when you just want to ignore the world.
Get this – 60 hours of playtime.
The Isolate model comes in Black & Sand colours, for $89.95.
Here’s the full feature list for the SoundForm Isolate:
With the same design and button configuration, just different features, the Belkin SoundForm Surround are aimed at everyday listening and conversations on the phone while you’re on the go.
Belkin suggests a feature they call “Environmental Noise Cancellation” which reduces background noise when on a call to make the conversation better.
