LG introduce new UltraGear OLED gaming monitors, including a 5K2K 45-inch behemoth

LG Electronics has announced the launch of new UltraGear OLED monitors to the Australian market with the UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor GX7 (Model 27GX790A) and the much-anticipated UltraGear 45-inch OLED Dual-Mode 5K2K Gaming Monitor (Model 45GX950A).

UltraGear 45-inch OLED Dual-Mode 5K2K Gaming Monitor (Model 45GX950A)

The new 45-inch addition to the UltraGear OLED lineup is one of the most anticipated monitors in a while, with its 5K2K resolution (5120 x 2160) and 800R curvature resulting in a level of immersion never seen before.

The LG 45GX950A delivers this expansive experience while also allowing for the ability to switch between WUHD 165Hz for graphically rich games and WFHD 330Hz for fast-paced action allowing you to customise the monitor to the game you are playing. The new 45-inch monitor also includes DP 2.1, HDMI 2.1 and USB-C Connectivity, allowing for a connection that best suits you and your setup.

The monitor offers exceptional gaming performance, with a 0.03ms GtG response time to minimise ghosting and allow you to see detail with a clarity not seen before in this type of monitor. With VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 Certification, you can expect deep blacks alongside vibrant colours, further increasing the clarity and detail of the game you are immersed within.

The new UltraGear 27GX790A delivers unparalleled gaming thanks to the 480Hz refresh rate combined with a 0.03ms GtG response time allowing for clear, fast-paced gaming.

The QHD (2560 x 1440) OLED display delivers black blacks with an infinite contrast, allowing you to immerse yourself in a vibrant, fast-paced game.

The new GX7 monitor includes support for NVIDIA G-SYNC® compatibility to AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to synchonise the monitor’s refresh rate with your graphics card to optimise the image to deliver a smooth gaming experience. Connectivity-wise you’ll be able to hook the GX7 to your PC using DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1.
