Motorola unveil the stunning new edge 60 fusion

Motorola has today announced their latest mid-range smartphone, the edge 60 fusion, and they are pulling no punches with this impressive new device.

The new motorola edge 60 fusion introduces new moto ai features, along with a new camera system, all packaged into colourful casings which look and feel great.

The phones themselves are incredibly stunning and a long way from the boring old black rectangles. The leather-inspired finish adds elegance to the phone with the colours soft and stylish in Slipstream, Amazonite and Zephyr colourways. The leather-inspired back of the phone has a grippy feel to it, but for that peace of mind, the edge 60 fusion includes a MIL-STG 810H rating along with IP68 and IP69 ratings.

New features of moto ai include:

  • Catch me up — instead of getting endless notifications, this gives you a clear, concise summary of the important things/notifications you may have missed. This is especially handy when turning on your phone or checking it after a long time away from it — for example, overnight or after a flight.
  • Pay Attention — simply type or press ‘Pay Attention’ in the search bar to start recording. Moto AI will later transcribe and summarise the recording.
  • Remember This — capture your screenshots, photos, and notes and moto ai will automatically analyse and tag them. Find them later with a simple search using ‘Recall’ and ‘Journal.’
  • Recall — helps you easily find information that you’ve saved, whether it’s notes from a meeting or a product you wanted to buy or enjoyed at another time.
  • Journal — This is the all-in-one resource for all information captured by moto ai in ‘Pay Attention’ and Remember This.’ It allows you to to easily search and gather important details and add your own notes and organise them in a single place.

Other new AI capabilities include daily use functions such as:

  • Next Move allows you to receive personalised recommendations on possible next steps based on what is on your screen.
  • Playlist Studio allows moto ai to create a playlist just for you.
  • Image Studio uses generative AI to create and edit images, avatars, stickers and wallpapers.

AI also appears in the camera app, with the new Photo Enhancement Engine enhancing colour, brightness, and texture while minimising noise to create the best possible photos and videos.

The motorola edge 60 fusion camera system has also been upgraded with the world’s first appearance of the Sony LYTIA 700C sensor, which allows users to shoot video like a pro thanks to OIS video stabilisation and create stills with colours validated by Pantone as true to life.

The front of the display houses Motorola’s sharpest, brightest display ever, a 6.7” curved pOLED 2K (1220p) display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Also tuned for accuracy with Pantone Validated Colours, it has a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits.

You will be able to power through more than a day thanks to the 5,200mAh battery and charge it quickly thanks to support for 68W TurboPower charging (sold separately). Pushing the device to the limits is the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset and up to 12GB of RAM with RAM Boost.
