Samsung unveil the impossibly-thin Galaxy S25 Edge, available for preorder now

Samsung today unveiled the Galaxy S25 Edge in full. It will be released on May 30 and is available for pre-order now.

As revealed by EFTM last month, the Galaxy S25 Edge will be an incredibly thin smartphone with the chassis a mere 5.8mm thin and weighing just 163 grams. It is still a sturdy phone though with its titanium frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protecting the display for added strength.

The rear camera promises to be exceptional with its 200MP main camera able to capture Nightography images at a new level thanks to the higher resolution and larger pixel size. The ultrawide camera is 12MP with autofocus for not just ultrawide imaging but also detailed macro photography.

The Galaxy S25 Edge includes the ProVisual Engine from the Galaxy S25 line released earlier this year. This includes enhancements that result in sharper details and true-to-life skin tones along with Galaxy AI-powered editing options, including Audio Eraser and Drawing Assist.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, the phone includes on-device AI capabilities as well as all-day peak performance. Cooling is performed using a new vapour chamber, which is obviously thinner than in previous phones.

Galaxy AI is implemented throughout the device with natural and context-aware AI enhancements to provide a personalised experience, without your data ever leaving your phone. Daily routines are enhanced with new and improved Now Brief and Now Bar, which now include third-party app integrations for even more convenience to your daily life.

Google’s Gemini is also never far away with Gemini Live’s camera and screen sharing abilities allowing users to share their screen with others while interacting with it at the same time.

The Galaxy S25 Edge will be available from 30 May in a captivating range of colours, including Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue (Samsung.com exclusive). SKUs available are:

  • 12GB and 512GB – AU
