Life360 and Tile are now fully integrated offering even more features for Life360 members

Late last year, Bluetooth tracker manufacturer Tile was acquired by family safety app Life360 to expand its smartphone user base and connect even more people, pets, and things.

Now that Tile has been fully integrated into the Life360 ecosystem, 2.9 million Australian Life360 users can set up and manage Tile Bluetooth trackers within their Life360 app.

The complete integration of Tile now allows a few other features, including:

  • Smart alerts provide the user with instant notifications if something is left behind.
  • An expanded location history for all Tile’d items, not just family members. Users receive two days of free history, with Silver subscribers receiving seven days, and Gold and Platinum users receiving 30 days of history.
  • Real-time location updates when a Tile-tracked item is with a Life360 member

With the marriage of Tile and Life360 platform, this is a great way to keep track of your valuable possessions and family members. With Life360 opening their family graph API, allowing third parties to create further experiences using the Life360 data, the global location platform is set to grow even more, thereby making their accuracy and reach even greater.

You can find Tile devices in most major electronics stores in Australia, and you can download the Life360 app from your smartphone’s App Store.
