LG unveil its AI plans for your home appliances at IFA 2025

LG has announced its vision for AI-powered living at IFA 2025 under the moniker “LG AI Appliances Orchestra.” The new ‘orchestra’ is designed to have all of your smart appliances “working together in harmony,” driven by its AI home solutions.

The orchestra currently includes 21 AI-powered appliances, all driven by LG ThinQ ON, LG’s AI home hub. This is orchestrated to deliver seamless experiences from one appliance to another, allowing for easy personalisation and customisation.

To further expand this orchestra, LG is introducing new AI-powered home appliances with a strong focus on increasing energy efficiency, ease of use, and interoperability with the home hub. Control all your devices from a single location and have them work seamlessly together.

“At IFA 2025, we’re presenting differentiated value with the LG AI Home solution, which leverages our AI core technologies to intelligently harmonise with the rhythms of customers’ lives,” said Lyu Jae-cheol, president of the LG Home Appliance Solution Company. “Our appliances are designed to complement modern lifestyles and living spaces, evolving with each user to deliver personalisation, ease-of-use and energy efficiency.”

The new refrigerators will combine AI-powered compressor operation with improved insulation alongside innovations such as the new Zero Clearance Hinge to bring a seamless experience to consumers.

Other innovations include expanded controls and larger LCD displays for washing machines and dryers, an entirely new smart vacuum lineup featuring robot and stick vacuums, and an LG Comfort Kit —an accessory kit designed to make appliances more straightforward to use for everyone of every age.

Keep an eye out for local announcements regarding these new AI home appliances from LG.

EFTM’s coverage of IFA 2025 is supported in part by Belkin, Ecovacs, Reolink and Samsung
