Logitech has announced new wireless keyboards for productivity, the Signature Slim Solar+ K980 and Signature Slim Solar+ K980 for Business. Both of these keyboards are powered by light and not just solar but also artificial light.
Built with Logitech’s Logi LightCharge technology, the new wireless keyboards will charge while being used offer simplicity, reliability and a cable-free experience. Once charged, the Signature Slim Solar+ keyboards will run for up to four months in darkness, so you don’t have to worry about them running out after a day or two in the dark. The rechargeable battery in the Signature Slim Solar+ is designed to last up to 10 years, so you will not have to worry about replacing it and contributing to landfill waste.
“Even the need to think about charging can be a distraction, so we designed Signature Slim Solar+ to take that off your plate completely,” said Art O’Gnimh, General Manager of Core Products Group at Logitech. “It stays powered by light – any light – clearing your desk of cables and eliminating the need to ever physically charge it, while bringing elegance and comfort to your workspace. That’s one less thing to worry about on a busy working day.”
Specifically, the Signature Slim Solar+ K980 for Business is designed for those with IT needs with minimal maintenance and an always-on charged battery. It features a Logi Bolt USB-C receiver for a secure, reliable connection to your PC. Using Logitech Sync, the Business version of the keyboard can be monitored by IT teams with a central view of individual devices.
The keyboard can be customised with up to 23 programmable keys, including an AI launch key, improving productivity with personalisation. The keyboard is a full-sized model with a number pad and the standard three Easy-Switch keys, allowing you to connect up to three devices.
