OPPO has announced that the Find X9 series smartphones will be available in Australia from 6 November. The two new phones from OPPO, the Find X9 and the Find X9 Pro feature a camera system once again co-engineered with Hasselblad, long battery life and their ColorOS 16 operating system based on Android 16.
“We’re expanding our flagship line-up locally with both the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, giving Australians more choice at the top end of the market….This series marks the next chapter in OPPO’s commitment to not just premium innovation, but delivering what Australians want,” said Michael Tran, Managing Director of OPPO Australia.
The Find X9 series debuts a new Hasselblad Master Camera System and combines innovative hardware with advanced computational photography to produce OPPO’s best-ever clarity and colour accuracy.
The Find X9 features a 50MP main camera and is capable of capturing 57% more light than the previous generation camera. It is partnered by two more 50MP cameras, an ultra-wide camera and a periscopic telephoto camera. But wait, there’s more – an “industry-first” True Colour Camera
The Find X9 Pro is another step up on this already impressive camera system with the Ultra XDR main camera featuring a customised 1/1.28-inch Sony LYT 828 sensor, which is capable of Real-Time Triple Exposure Technology to capture even more detail in shadows and highlights.
Instead of the 50MP telephoto camera in the Find X9, the Pro phone features a 200MP Hasselblad Telephoto camera with a 10cm minimum focus distance for ultra-fine macro shots. The camera’s resolution is also improved by another 15% thanks to a new Active Optical Alignment process developed by OPPO that precisely aligns the lens with the sensor.
As an accessory for the Find X9 Pro, OPPO is also offering the new Hasselblad Teleconverter, a “professional-grade optical accessory. This provides up to 10x optical super-zoom and enables up to 200x digital zoom on photos and 50x for video.
Both phones provide long battery life thanks to OPPO’s third-generation silicon-carbon battery technology, with the Find X9 housing a 7025mAh battery and the Find X9 Pro 7500mAh. Both devices support 80W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The Find X9 Series continues OPPO’s design language with the minimalistic bezels now measuring just 1.15mm and the rear sporting a matte glass finish. The Find X9 features a 6.59-inch display, while the Find X9 Pro a bigger 6.78-inch display. Both displays boast 120Hz refresh rates and up to 3,600 nits peak brightness.
OPPO’s ColorOS 16 uses the new Luminour Rendering Engine for improved smoothness and an overall intelligent experience. AI is front and centre again, with AI Mind Space and AI Recorder standing out in the new software.
