NBA 2K26 is bringing the ‘House of 2K’ to Melbourne Park this weekend as part of the NBAxNBL Melbourne series

Basketball, the NBA and the NBL are rocking Melbourne this weekend with Zion Williamson’s New Orleans Pelicans arriving in town for showdowns with the two Melbourne NBL teams, Melbourne United and the South East Melbourne Phoenix.

To celebrate the NBAxNBL Melbourne series, NBA 2K26 is hosting a series of experiences and displays at the House of 2K in Melbourne Park this week. From Thursday through Sunday, NBA fans can:

  • Check out the NBA Retro Museum, where they will find some of the NBA’s most prized jerseys and items.
  • Get your photo taken in front of a floor-to-ceiling collage of every NBA 2K cover, create your player profile, and a custom player card, which will be printed on-site to take home.
  • Iconic moments in 2K can be relived with motion-controlled gaming on the PS3 Move.
  • Enjoy all of the NBA 2K games from PS2 through to PS4, along with some retro gameplay on CRTs and retro consoles.
  • Play the latest NBA 2K game on consoles you have or don’t have — try them all! Check out our review of it here.

The NBA 2K26 House of 2K is open at Melbourne Park from Thursday to Sunday afternoon. We urge all NBA and NBA 2K fans to head along and check it out. I know we will be.

  • Thursday 2nd Oct – 10AM – 4PM AEST
  • Friday 3rd Oct – 12PM – 10PM AEST
  • Saturday 4th Oct – 12PM-8PM AEST
  • Sunday 5th Oct – 10AM – 4:30PM AEDT

The NBAxNBL Melbourne series games are on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon, with the Pels having an open training session on Thursday afternoon and a fan night on Saturday night. Games are also streamed live on NBA League Pass. For the full schedule, head over to the NBA website.
