OPPO announces the global launch of its Find X9 Series smartphones — coming to Australia soon

OPPO has confirmed to EFTM that its 2025 flagship Find X9 Series will be launched globally on October 28, 2025 in Barcelona. The Find X9 and Find X9 Pro are set to take smartphone photography to new highs in partnership with Hasselblad.

The flagship series from OPPO will once again feature a sleek matte glass finish, aluminium frame and tiny bezels measuring just 1.15mm. The displays on both Find X9 Series phones will be flat, with the Find X9 sporting a 6.59-inch display and the Find X9 Pro a 6.78-inch display.

The big jump in smartphone photography standards expected with this phone is thanks to the Hasselblad Baster Camera System featuring a new 200MP Hasselblad Telephoto lens to deliver “unparalleled detail and clarity in zoom shots.”

Both devices support 4K 120fps Dolby Vision and are capable of high-quality concert imaging, still and video, thanks to optimisations like Stage Mode and AI Sound Focus.

“Together with Hasselblad, we are taking a monumental leap forward in imaging quality with Find X9 Series. Combined with a refined design, extraordinary battery life, and the fast and smooth ColorOS 16, Find X9 Series is set to redefine the flagship experience and inspire a new era of creativity with mobile devices,” said Pete Lau, SVP and Chief Product Officer at OPPO.

The Find x9 Series is powered by the MediaTek Diomensity 9500 chipset, an advanced 3nm platform processor. With battery capacities of 7,025mAh in the Find X9 and 7,500mAh in the Find X9 Pro, battery life should extend close to two days for the average user.

ColorOS 16 makes its debut on the Find X9 Series, offering improved system smoothness through Seamless Animation for faster, more fluid transitions across the entire system. The new visual design and deeper customisation of ColorOS 16 allow users to further tailor their devices to their personalities and style. New features include a full-screen Always-On Display and the ability to resize apps and folders on the home screen.

ColorOS also expands on OPPO’s AI offerings with AI Portrait Glow for low-light portraits and Master Cut for faster video editing, added to the suite of tools already present, which include AI Eraser, AI Unblur, and AI Reflection Remover.

More information about the new Find X9 Series devices from OPPO and their local Australian availability will be forthcoming at the global launch on the 28th
