Amazon expands their home security offerings with new Blink and Ring devices landing in Australia

After their big unveil at the Amazon event in October, Ring and Blink have today launched their new range of cameras and doorbells to Australia.

The new Ring and Blink range offer affordable protection for home owners with summer holidays approaching, and trips away being planned.

Our research clearly shows that ‘away-from-home anxiety’ is a real phenomenon affecting millions of Australians during what should be their most relaxing time of the year,”

said Mark Fletcher, Ring and Blink Managing Director, APAC.

Summer holidays are meant to be carefree, yet for many, they’re tainted by persistent worries about what’s happening back home. However, with a quick tap on your phone, you can literally see that everything’s fine. It’s like having eyes on your property while you’re soaking up the sun – providing peace of mind so you can enjoy your well-deserved break.

The range of Ring and Blink security products offer remote access, letting you check in on things at home, as well as get notified of movement or things happening around your home.

Blink is expanding their affordable home security offerings in Australia, introducing their popular doorbell alongside the Blink Mini 2K+ and new mounts.

The Blink Mini 2K+ is their most advanced plug-in compact camera yet. The camera offers 2K resolution at a shockingly great price, with the option to use it indoors or outdoors with the addition of a Weather Resistant Power Adaptor you can buy separately.

The Blink Mini 2K+ will add layers of protection, with bundles including the ARC mount, which combines two Blink Mini 2K+ cameras into a single, seamlessly stitched 180-degree panoramic view.

The popular Blink Video Doorbell will also be arriving in Australia from today, with a weather-resistant design offering a smart camera enabled doorbell for a super low price, giving you the ability to answer the door, or check for packages remotely.

Blink has also announced the Outdoor Floodlight Mount for the Outdoor 4 camera, with the easy-to-install mount adding in motion triggered LED lighting and up to two years battery life.
