It seems Meta is getting cosy with releasing apps for Apple devices, with the company announcing a standalone WhatsApp experience now available for the Apple Watch.
The app will feature many requested features including call notifications, as well as record and send voice messages up to 10 seconds long through your Apple Watch. The app will also allow you to read the full message, where previously longer messages were cut off, forcing you to pull out your phone.
You’ll be able to react to messages with quick emoji, as well as see ‘clear images’ and stickers on your watch, as well as more of your chat history on the screen.
This latest release from Meta comes just a couple of months after the long awaited release of an Instagram app for the iPad, so perhaps we’ll see more Meta releases coming to more Apple devices – WhatsApp for VisionPro?
You can check the new WhatsApp app on your wrist if you have an Apple Watch Series 4 and above running watchOS 10 or later.
