LG and will.i.am has announced that they are expanding their xboom speaker lineup at CES 2026 with a range of speakers featuring party speakers, rugged speakers and stylish indoor speakers.
The new speakers deliver the usual well-balanced signature sound by will.i.am with FYI.RAiDiO is integrated to allow users to interact with ten AI Personas and DJs through two-way conversations. This allows the user to curate their own playlists and personalisations for different contexts and situations.
The new range includes the Stage 501, Blast, Mini and Rock speakers, all for different listening scenarios and lifestyles and featuring AI smarts. The built-in AI Sound analyses audio content and adjusts the EQ settings to improve melody, rhythm or vocals based on the user’s preferences.
AI Lighting helps the multicoloured bar lights on the xboom speakers synchronise themselves to the music to enhance the party atmosphere. The Stage 501 and Blast models feature Space Calibration Pro to analyse sound quality based on the speakers’ surroundings and adapts the output of the speaker to deliver consistent audio.
“The collaboration with will.i.am continues to advance our vision for intelligent, expressive sound,” said Lee Jeong-seok, head of the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company’s Audio Business. “As we move into 2026, portable audio will remain a key growth driver for LG, combining refined performance, AI innovation and design that reflects what consumers value most.”
The xboom Stage 501 is not just a speaker; it also includes AI Karaoke Master, supporting over 10,000 songs. This uses its AI to remove or adjust the vocals from the song, allowing karaoke to be performed at whatever level the singer is comfortable with.
The Stage 501 features a battery life of over 25 hours and can deliver up to 220W of power when plugged in and up to 160W on battery. The five-sided design makes the speaker ideal for multiple setup positions, including vertical, horizontal, tilted or tripod-mounted.
The xboom Blast provides up to 35 hours of playback thanks to its 99Wh battery and is capable of 220W output, creating a big sound wherever you are.
The edge bumpers and military-standard durability make the Blast extremely rugged and ideal for outdoor use.
The xboom Mini fits into any decor thanks to its small, stylish design. It features up to 10 hours of battery life and, despite its small stature, can deliver clear, sharp audio. Other features include IP67 water and dust resistance, a built-in tripod mount, and tactile controls that make it easy to use wherever you want.
Designed for a rugged lifestyle, the xboom Rock offers up to 10 hours of playback and has been tested to seven military standards. Its performance has been improved over the previous generation, with it now capable of 6W of power.
Software enhancements, such as Sound Field Enhance and LE Audio Auracast, help improve audio quality and make sharing across multiple speakers simple.
The latest “xboom by will.i.am” audio products will roll out globally in 2026.
