2K is ringing in the New Year with new editions of PGA Tour 2K25 and a new NBA 2K26 season

2K has been busy and is pushing out new versions and seasons for two of their major sporting titles, NBA 2K26 and PGA TOUR 2K25, something to keep even the most avid users busy for quite a while.

NBA 2K26 Season 4

Season 4 of NBA 2K26 has launched just in time for the upcoming All-Star weekend, with young superstars Victor Wembanyama and Tyrese Maxey gracing the coverart. The new season includes the opportunity to earn a spot in the All-Star Game starting lineup, participate in the 3-point contest (the only part of the All-Star weekend worth watching these days) and the Slam Dunk Contest.

MyPARK also makes a return in season 4, giving you an opportunity to play at the high-altitude park above The City. There are new MyTEAM cards with a Level 1 Amethyst Tyrese Maxey Evo card that evolves to a 94 OVR and peaks with a Level 40 99 OVR Dark Matter Russell Westbrook card. Other cards available include a Level 10 Diamond Thabo Sefolosha, a Level 20 Pink Diamond DeAndre Jordan, a Level 28 Galaxy Opal Coach Tyronn Lue, and a second 99 OVR player with Level 35 Dark Matter Angel Reese.

For those deeply invested in the game, the Season 4 Pro Pass & Hall of Fame Pass unlocks 40 additional levels of content with various new automatic awards available at various levels.

PGA TOUR 2K25 new editions and Season 5

PGA TOUR 2K25 has been updated with PGA TOUR 2K25 Legend Edition Year 2 and PGA TOUR 2K25 Pro Editions, both offering premium versions of my current favourite game across all formats.

The PGA TOUR 2K25 Pro Edition (available in digital format only) includes:

• A new Extra Butter x Adidas Pack, which includes a playable Chris McDonald character and various Adidas Extra Butter clothing options,
• A Birdie Pack, which includes a Titleist GT4 Driver, Titleist Golf Ball Cosmetic, Footjoy Premiere Series Shoes, Umbrella Hat, and 3 Golf Ball Fittings,
• The Pro Accelerator Pack, which grants 8800 VC, five Level Up Tokens, six Evo Tools, and twelve Fittings.

The PGA TOUR 2K25 Legend Edition Year 2 (available in digital format only) includes:

• Everything included in the Pro Edition listed above, along with:
  • Year 1 and 2 Member’s passes, which unlock theClubhouse Pass Premium for Seasons 1-8, and the Year 1 and Year 2 Clubhouse Gear Packs,
  • The Malbon Bucket Ball Pack with three Malbon cosmetics balls.
  • The Sun Day Red Pack, which includes the Red 3 Button Polo, Black Ballcap, Black Pants, White Gloves, and TaylorMade Driver Qi10.

Season 5 also launches next week, on the 21st January, with the first of three 2026 Major Championships: The 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club. This is free to play for all players. Season 5 also includes two new equipment upgrade tiers, Galactic Amber and Tiger’s Eye tiers, with a new Clubhouse Pass available with various new rewards and apparel making an appearance.
