ASUS’ new Zenbook Duo 2026 includes a new hideaway hinge that brings the screens closer than ever

As part of ASUS’ broader announcements at CES, the company has also unveiled a newly designed dual-display Zenbook Duo with a new hideaway hinge and MagLatch keyboard.

As with the rest of the range, the ASUS Zenbook Duo will incorporate the lightweight Ceraluminum material into the chassis giving the unit durability, and a stylish look without adding any weight.

The new hideaway hinge allows the dual 14″ 3K ASUS Lumina Pro OLED narrow bezel displays to sit almost flush together, making a more immersive experience with an almost 20” display.

The Zenbook Duo kickstand has also seen improvement, now integrated into the body to ensure you get that stable positioning while maintaining a streamlined look.

The latest gen Zenbook Duo will be powered by the new Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3 “Panther Lake” processors using Intel ARC GPUs, with up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of on-board storage.

The 2026 Zenbook Duo will include a 99 Wh dual-battery system split across both decks to maintain power throughout the day, with ASUS seeing up to a 50% increase in battery life over previous generations.

With such a large display, ASUS have also included an upgraded Dolby Atmos audio system with six speakers, including dual-diaphragm woofers and dual front-firing tweeters hidden in the hinge to give you incredible sound.

The Zenbook Duo includes a keyboard, with ASUS redesigning the full-sized Bluetooth keyboard with a reinforced frame and mainboard to improve reliability, with a new MagLatch docking system that uses retractable pogo pins to make docking smooth and consistent each time.

We’ve loved the previous iterations of the Zenbook Duo and can’t wait to check out the latest one, but we’ll be seeing more at ASUS’ CES booth this week before it hits our shores later this year.
