Hisense to expand ConnectLife platform with AI and Matter support alongside new smart appliances for the home

Electronics maker Hisense has unveiled a new series of intelligent appliances at CES2026, broadening their smart, connected appliance range,  as well as announcing their ConnectLife platform will support Matter compatible devices.

The new appliances include the Series 9 Smart Dishwasher and PureSmart Fridge, while the ConnectLIfe platform will include support for Matter, as well as introducing AI Agents which can learn from user behaviour.

Kevin Ke, Managing Director, Hisense Australia and New Zealand.  Said of the announcement

At Hisense, innovation is only meaningful when it makes everyday life genuinely better, for people and for the planet. Our 2026 smart home range reflects a long-standing commitment to designing technology with purpose, from energy-efficient performance and long-lasting product quality to intelligent systems that reduce waste and complexity.”

In the kitchen, the PureSmart Fridge will include dual high-resolution displays, with a dedicated 3.5” display for refrigerator functions, complemented by a larger 21-inch screen for using apps, checking out recipe videos and more, or just adjusting your smart home controls.

The fridge includes an antibacterial guard coating with metal-tech cooling, metal glide drawers, UV water treatment technology and deep-freeze capabilities.

The series 9 Smart Dishwasher is a smart appliance, offering intelligent automation and advanced cleaning performance.

Featuring a 6.86-inch touch display which can provide a clear and intuitive interface for loading the perfect wash, which is helped by the AI Super Wash Technology which will automatically detects how large the load, and how dirty the dishes are, automatically adjusting detergent, water usage, temperature and cycle duration for the best clean.

There’s a door fan built-in to the Series 9 Smart Dishwasher, making sure you never have to dry by hand again, while a triple-spray arm and multiple wash zones inside make sure your dishes come out clean as a whistle.

Both the Series 9 Smart Dishwasher and PureSmart Fridge connect into the ConnectLife platform, with the fridge able to offer recipes and wine pairings, as well as showing you how to prepare your meal.

The Series 9 Smart Dishwasher can leverage its ConnectLife connection, talking with other appliances in your home to optimise wash cycles.

Its Smart Dry system, featuring a door fan and optimised condensation channels, delivers thoroughly dry dishes without hand-drying, while a triple-spray arm system and multiple wash zones ensure precise, hygienic cleaning across all load types

The ConnectLife platform will also be expanding to welcome 3rd party appliances and Matter enabled devices, which Hisense says will ‘bring smarter, more intuitive living to Australian homes’.

Matter is the smart home standard from the Connectivity Standards Allianace (CSA) which is composed of big names in smart homes including Google, Apple, Amazon, Samsung and more to simplify smart home devices and make them available across platforms.

Hisense has announced they will also be adding in AI-powered specialised assistants, which the company says can ‘learn user habits and manage everyday tasks automatically’.

This connectivity will include the option to seamlessly co-ordinate across devices, ranging from Each assistant focuses on a specific area of the home, coordinating seamlessly and allowing the system to perform functions like recommending meals based on the contents of your fridge, or automatically adjusting the air conditioning based on how many people are in your house.

We’ll be seeing more on pricing and availability of the new Series 9 Smart Dishwasher and PureSmart Fridge through the year, with Matter Support coming to the ConnectLife platform soon.
