Netgear announces new Nighthawk 5G M7 Portable WiFi 7 Hotspot and eSIM marketplace

Netgear have announced a new eSIM marketplace, as well as the new Nighthawk 5G M7 Portable WiFi 7 Hotspot during CES, with the mobile hotspot available now for pre-order. 

The mobile hotspot can use both physical, as well as eSIM with coverage for 4G and 5G in over 140 countries. 

To support the new hotspot, Netgear has launched a new mobile app, which also includes their new ‘eSIM Marketplace’ which will let you find and price out a number of services from those countries, directly through the Netgear app. 

The Nighthawk 5G M7 can supply a fast, reliable cloud of WiFi 7 connectivity to around 185m2 metre, with built-in security including WPA3 encryption, firewall protection, and automatic updates.

 Netgear says the hotspot can deliver speeds up to 3.6 Gbps to up to 32 devices – including USB-C connections, or ethernet with an additional accessory.

The unit includes a battery pack to last 10 hours, or a full work day, on a single charge with fast Wi-Fi performance, and the
