Roborock is having a busy CES 2026, with not just the announcement of its partnership with Real Madrid but also the unveiling of its latest product lineup, including a robot vacuum with the world’s first AI-powered two-wheel-leg architecture.
The Roborock Saros Rover looks every bit as strange as all the other semi-autonomous robots you see on the Internet. Although it is still in development, it is a very real product that is expected to impact markets in the future.
The Rover incorporates wheel-legs which:
“provides reach, lift, height, and imitates human mobility, enabling the robot to raise and lower each one of the wheel-legs independently, execute small jumps, agile turns, sudden stops, and directional changes, all while maintaining a level body as the ground changes.”
Using AI algorithms combined with motion sensors and 3D spatial information, the robot vacuum is able to understand its environment and make its wheel-legs operate with precision. Ideal for multi-storey cleaning, including the stairs from one level to the next, the robot removes many no-go zones that exist with more traditional robot vacuums.
It is unclear just when this product will make it to market but it is certain that Roborock are focusing on introducing it to the public in the not-so-distant future.
The new 2026 lineup includes the Saros 20 and Saros 20 Sonic, the F25 Ace Pro upright vacuum, and a line of robot lawnmowers, although the lawnmowers have not yet been confirmed for the Australian market.
The Roborock Saros 20 and Saros 20 Sonic fit seamlessly into the flagship Saros range of Roborock robot vacuums, although the Sonic will not be launching in Australia.
The Saors 20 arrives with the AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0, allowing for double-layer threshold crossing of up to 4.5cm high or double-layer thresholds of 4.5 + 4cm high, and an upgraded mapping and recognition system, the StarSight Autonomous System 2.0.
The AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0 combines liftable main and auxiliary wheels with a climbing arm to not only climb but also analyse, test, and memorise the transition. It uses this Adaptive Algorithm to remember how it crossed the threshold, so it can do it seamlessly the next time.
It also uses this lifting system to lift the vacuum onto carpeted areas and to keep the wet mopping pads off the carpet. There are eight possible chassis heights depending on the thickness of the carpets/rugs, with the vacuum selecting the optimal height to vacuum the carpet.
The mopping system are comprised of dual spinning mops that apply up to 13N of downward pressure. If preferred, the mopping pads can be automatically left back in the RoboDock when vacuum-only mode is selected.
Other features include 3D ToF Navigation System, Dual-Transmitter Solid-State LiDAR, AI-powered Obstacle Recognition, VertiBeam Lateral Obstacle Avoidance, and DriTech Technology.
The Roborock F25 ACE Pro is Roborock’s latest upright vacuum/mopping system. It features JetFoaming technology, which is an “ultra-dense foaming system” that transforms just 1ml of a foam cleaning solution into 167 million microbubbles to help remove stubborn household stains by softening them, making removal easy.
The F25 ACE Pro features 25,000PA of suction power and a 35% larger water tank than previous F25 models. The vacuum also includes JawScrapers to prevent hair from tangling in the rollers, and a self-maintenance dock that self-cleans at a high temperature to avoid bacterial buildup.
New to the robot lawnmower category, the new Roborock lawnmowers feature technology such as Sentisphere Environmental Perception with full-band RTK + VSLAM navigation, Stereo Vision Obstacle Avoidance, and the optional PreciEdge cutting module for precise lawn cutting and coverage.
Roborock are also entering the market with a more rugged version ,which features Sentisphere™ LiDAR Environmental Perception, Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) traction, Patented Active Steering, and a Dynamic Suspension System to provide lawn cutting across uneven lawns.
The local availability and pricing for the Roborock Saros 20, Saros 20 Sonic and the F25 ACE Pro will be announced soon.
