Edifier is continuing its push into the Australian affordable speaker market with the professional-grade MR5 Studio Speakers priced at under $400.
The Edifier MR5 Studio Speakers deliver precision audio with a rich, natural sound across the entire sound stage, lows, mids and highs. The speakers are designed to produce the exact sound as it was recorded, thanks to a flat frequency response from 46Hz to 40kHz.
With a massive 110W RMS output, they are powerful enough to fill a medium-sized room with that accurate audio. Ideal for near- and mid-field setups, they feature 5-inch long-throw woofers, 3.75-inch mid-range drivers, and 1-inch silk-dome tweeters. When these drivers are combined with Edifier’s tri-amped active crossover and acoustic architecture, the audio is clear and precise within the entire listening area.
The speakers include down-firing woofers to maximise bass and lows while keeping a relatively small footprint.
Audio fine-tuning can be performed with preset and customisable EQs in the Edifier ConneX App.
The speakers feature low-noise balanced XLR and balanced TRS inputs, RCA and AUX inputs, and a headphone output socket. Inside are Class-D amplifiers, allowing the system to support 24-bit/96kHz resolution. You can also stream high-resolution audio wirelessly via Bluetooth 6.0, with support for LDAC at up to 990 kbps and 24-bit/96kHz.
The Edifier MR5 Studio Speakers are available now from Officeworks for AU$399. For more information, head on over to Edifier.com.
