OPPO is back today with a new tablet and watch, the Pad 5 and the Watch S, launching today alongside the Reno 15 Series.
The OPPO Pad 5 continues OPPO’s successful and affordable tablet series, with a big 12.1-inch 2.8K Eye-Comfort display, a substantial 10,050mAh battery, and an immersive quad-speaker sound system – perfect for media consumption of all kinds.
The optional OPPO Pencil 2R provides precise handwriting with ultra-low latency and, when combined with the AI-Powered Note-Taking app, enables a wide range of productivity uses. The pencil can also be used with the Circle to Note app to let the user circle content on one half of the split screen and have it automatically copied into the Notes app on the other half.
Other productivity software features include AI Recording Summary with AI noise reduction and Handwriting Formula Calculation.
The massive 10,050mAh battery delivers full-day operation and supports fast charging. In total, you can achieve over 15 hours of continuous video playback and up to 53 hours of continuous audio playback from a single charge.
OPPO is also launching its latest fitness wearable, the Watch S. It sports an ultra-slim stainless steel design and features an ultra-bright 3000-nit display, ECG-based health analysis, advanced sleep tracking, and mind-and-body wellness evaluation for overall health and fitness tracking.
The Watch S provides tracking of over 100 workout modes and advanced sports tracking, and supports dual-band GPS for accurate run tracking. It can track advanced running metrics, such as ground contact time (GCT), vertical oscillation, and lactate threshold heart rate (LTHR), to help you optimise your running technique.
Using Heart Rate Broadcast, the Watch S can sync with external fitness equipment, such as treadmills and bikes, so users can track their health metrics while exercising without having to continually check their watch.
The Watch S features an 8-channel heart rate sensor, a 16-channel blood oxygen sensor, a wrist temperature sensor, and an ECG-enabled electrode heart rate sensor to deliver accurate health metrics throughout the day.
Weighing just 35 grams and at only 8.9mm thick, it is comfortable to wear 24/7, allowing you to track your sleep as well as daytime health and fitness metrics. Even with this, the battery is expected to last up to 10 days with quick charging support, so a 10-minute charge provides a full day of use.
The Watch S is available with two different strap options: a nylon woven strap in a yellow-green colourway featured on the Silver Gleam model and a black fluoroelastomer strap for the Phantom Black model.
The OPPO Pad 5 and Watch S are available from today via OPPO Australia’s Online Store:
As mentioned the other day, the Reno 15 series also goes on sale today, and to celebrate, OPPO has some great bonus offers for early purchasers up until 25 March:
