Fetch announces their new 24/7 sports channel – “Unbeaten”

Fetch TV, Australia’s own streaming media company has announced a new addition to their lineup, targeted at all sports lovers.

Available to all subscribers on their Ultimate package or those subscribed to their “Vibe” pack, the new “Unbeaten” 24/7 sports channel is now live

Billed as delivering “wall-to-wall sporting action from around the globe, with an emphasis on live events” Fetch state that customers can “Catch topical features, premium international events – including several World Cups – and premier competitions in both elite and discovery sports”

Keeping it local “Unbeaten” is owned by Australian sports content company Inverleigh so consumers should expect a range of sports curated with Aussie interests in mind. The new channel, available exclusively on Fetch is designed to cater for die hard fans of major sports as well as giving sports-lovers an opportunity to experience new competitions.

Fetch and Inverleigh state that they intend to achieve this by combining “live coverage with curated highlights, storytelling, and feature programming that helps fans connect more deeply with the sports they follow”

Unbeaten has been operating in other markets such as the US, Europe and Asia for more than 5 years but have now launched in Australia and have chosen Fetch as the vehicle to bring their product down under.

Matt Bellotti, Head of Channels at Inverleigh, said, “Over five years, Unbeaten has become a popular destination for sports fans the world over, reaching millions of loyal viewers predominantly across the US, Europe, and Asia every week. We’ve waited for the right opportunity to launch a dedicated feed in our home market and Fetch is the perfect home for a channel driven by a passion for sport – that same passion shared by sports fans across Australia.”
