Uniden launches the iGO 63R dash cam and for a short time it’s at an incredible price

Uniden has launched their latest dual camera smart dash cam, the iGO 63R and you’ll be blown away by the features and the price

Uniden’s naming convention utilises the R to designate that not only is it a front-facing camera, there is also a Rear-facing unit to capture those important moments that happen on the roads.

R may as well stand for Reassurance as it has been shown that rear-end collisions are the most common type of accident on Australian roads. That may take the form of a single vehicle colliding with the car in front, sometimes more than two cars involved in the classic accordion or chain reaction incident, hitting a car as they turn right into an intersection or driveway or as a result of Australian’s favourite pastime, tailgating.  For us geeks the research is riveting so check it out for yourself here

Uniden’s iGO63R package features

  • 4K front camera and 2K rear camera: Captures detailed front and rear footage, with a 130° front view and ultra-wide 150° rear view.
  • Smart Parking Mode: Records motion-activated events in 60-second blocks while the vehicle is parked.
  • 3-inch LCD Colour Screen
  • Voice control: Enables selected recording functions to be activated hands-free while driving.

Plus, what is usually offered at an extra cost

  • A 64GB microSD card included, so you’re ready to go straight out of the box

Now here’s the kicker. Despite being every bit worthy of the RRP of $AUD299, at launch the dual dash cam package is only $AUD159, That is almost half price AND includes shipping

Brad Hales, Head of Marketing Oceania at Uniden, said the launch “reflects Uniden’s focus on accessible and practical in-car technology that helps drivers stay better connected, informed and protected on the road and offer an easy way to upgrade vehicles with the latest technology benefits, while adding a layer of safety, too.”

To get your hands on the iGO63R at this special price, head to the Uniden website but you better be quick so you don’t miss out.
