Motorola Teams Up with FIFA as Official Smartphone Partner for World Cup 2026

With just two stunning strikes, the CommBank Socceroos kicked off a stunning start to their FIFA World Cup Final journey on Sunday, and you may have seen a bit of Motorola thanks to their position as Official Smartphone Partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The partnership will reflect a “shared commitment to meaningful technology, global connection, and the power of sport to unite people” between FIFA and Motorola.

Praveena Raman, Head of Motorola Australia and New Zealand said

Football has a unique way of bringing people together, and it’s been incredible to see Australians get behind the Socceroos from homes, pubs and communities across the country. Motorola is proud to help fans here stay close to every moment, while also supporting those on the ground, making it easy to capture, share and celebrate the action as it happens.

Motorola has jumped in to the partnership, announcing World Cup themed Collection, adding to their Brilliant Collection announced last year. The collection will include a World Cup 2026 Themed razr fold and motorola edge 70 fusion with 24K gold-plated accents and a razr FIFA World Cup 26 Edition – however the bad news is that none of these devices are slated to arrive in Australia.

Motorola has also announced a collaboration to include FIFA Heroes – an arcade-style, 5-a-side football featuring players, mascots and even fictional characters on the same pitch on select devices.

Whether you’re watching a game on your phone, buying tickets for a game or capturing some fun moments from a watch party – Motorola is ready to stay connected with the action.

You can catch all World Cup 2026 action in Australia thanks to SBS OnDemand. You can head over to check out the upcoming games, which includes coverage of the US vs the Socceroos at 5am on Saturday morning and look out for the Motorola branding..
