Hisense Branches Into Personal Audio with $199 HiClips Open-Ear Earbuds

Consumer electronics company Hisense has announced they’re expanding their horizons, branching out into personal audio with the launch of the Hisense HiClips open-ear earbuds.

Priced at $199, the new earbuds will combine premium sound with an open-ear design that will let you stay connected to conversations and the world around you.

The premium buds will offer powerful sound, with a ‘precise internal speaker design for clearer sound’ including smart noise reduction using smart profiles and a dual-microphone system for clearer voice calls.

Kevin Ke, Managing Director of Hisense ANZ said

We’re incredibly excited to introduce HiClips and bring the Hisense entertainment experience into an entirely new category. At Hisense, we believe great technology should enhance everyday life, not disconnect us from it. HiClips has been purpose-built around that philosophy, combining premium sound with an open-ear design that allows Australians to stay connected to both their content and the world around them. It’s another step in our commitment to creating innovative technology that makes life easier, more connected and more enjoyable.

The lightweight earbuds are designed to fit securely in place for workouts, walking or anything using a titanium bridge wrapped in soft-touch silicone for long-lasting comfort, letting you wear them all day, with dual-audio so you can connect to your laptop or tablet as well as your phone, seamlessly transitioning between the two as needed.

They’re also designed to be seen, and come in four colourways including the vibrant ‘Vitality Orange’, as well as the more classic colours Cloud White, Graphite Blue and Midnight Black.

The 5.5gram buds can offer up to 8.5 hours of playback, while the included charging case can expand that to a total of 36 hours of playback on the go, with a quick 3 minute charge giving you an hour of listening time.

Connected through the ConnectLife app for iOS and Android, you can personalise your HiClips experience, adjusting controls, gestures and settings to get the sound you want.

All four colours will be available through hiclips.hisense.com.au for 9.
