LG has expanded their portable StanbyMe portable display range, launching the StanbyME 2 Max in Australia.
The StanbyME 2 MAX expands on the StanbyMe 2 released in September last year. The new StanbyME 2 MAX includes an even larger 32-inch, 4K resolution touch display while still retaining the portability and features that made the original great.
The StanbyMe 2 also includes an improved processor, with the new α8 AI Processor 4K Gen3 using AI to optimise both picture and sound.
The AI improvements include AI Picture Pro, offering improved depth and detail, as well as super upscaling to ensure details stay intact on the larger, higher resolution display, and Dolby Vision support is also on-board bringing greater brightness, sharper contrast and more diverse colours.
The AI processing can also produce virtual 11.1.2 channel surround sound, with the StanbyME 2 also supporting Dolby Atmos bringing multi-dimensional sound through the two-channel speaker system.
The portable display includes a four hour battery and comes with a versatile wheeled stand, letting you bring it to every room of your house, and even outdoors. The display can also be hung on a wall using an optional Strap & Wall Mount Holder, or used as a tablet with a small built-in kick-stand. It can even switch between portrait and landscape on the stand so you can view content as it was originally intended.
Running WebOS, LG’s StanbyME 2 isn’t just a display, it also offers screen mirroring with Apple AirPlay and Google Cast, as well as app support. The touch display offers a great way to interact with family using apps like Let’s Draw, or let it display stunning artworks with the LG Gallery+ app.
