Samsung Galaxy Fold8 devices are arriving early all around Australia

When Samsung announced the new Galaxy Fold 8 devices last month, they stated the devices would start shipping from August 7, 2026. It seems that they were wrong — but in a good way, with many Aussies able to get their hands on them, with some as early as yesterday.

Early user images of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 8 phones are hitting the Internet, with some users heading in-store to pick them up (in particular, Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi getting numerous mentions) while others have had theirs delivered to their homes already.

With so many out in the wild, it was only a matter of time before we saw size comparison pics:

We are seeing mentions of both Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra’s being picked up or delivered, with the Whirlpool thread running hot and some users already posting first thoughts for their purchases.

Trevor is hard at work on the EFTM reviews for all three of the new Samsung foldables so be sure to check back here regularly to hear his thoughts, especially on the new Galaxy Fold 8 form factor. If you are on the fence on a purchase decision on one of these new foldables, make sure you check out his reviews in the coming days and weeks.
