Battery banks are (rightfully) getting a bit of a reputation on planes these days, so safer, more stable options are needed. Enter the LASER ChargeCore Powerbank range using new semi-solid state battery tech, offering enhanced battery safety and stability.
LASER has been at the forefront of powerbanks, even introducing the newer LiFePO4 batteries to their battery banks last year, and are now introducing
semi-solid state batteries with a focus on safety and peace of mind.
Chris Lau, Managing Director of LASER said
“We’ve been closely following semi solid state battery development for some time, since first visiting an EV factory several years ago, and advancements since that time mean that it can now move into smaller, more compact options. Simply put, I believe that Semi Solid State chemistry makes this the safest powerbank technology available in Australia today. We are focused on safety and peace of mind, and we know that it is a huge concern for Australian consumers these days when buying powerbanks.”
The new ChargeCore PowerBanks come in three capacities, 10,000mAh, 20,000mAh and 27,000mAh offering a USB Type-C and two USB-A ports giving you versatile charging for your phones, tablets and more.
The 10k and 20kmAh PowerBanks are able to deliver 20W of power across the three ports, while the 27,000mAh option can charge devices at up to 35W.
All three models include an easy-to-read digital battery display showing how much is left, as well as including integrated protection against overcharging, overcurrent, short circuits and overheating.
The new ChargeCore PowerBanks are available now in Black, with LASER also announcing Galactica, Grey, and Dark Cherry colour options are coming soon for their 10K and 20K ChargeCore PowerBanks.
While the ChargeCore range is arriving now, LASER is also looking ahead, with Magnetic Charging and Waterproof options also using the semi-solid state battery tech coming soon.

Daniel has been talking about, learning about and using tech since he was able to toggle switches and push buttons. If it flashes, turns on or off or connects he wants to use it, talk about it and learn more about it. Like this article? Buy me a coffee!
