Picture quality brilliance with Sharp’s new WXGA projector
Sharp Corporation of Australia has announced the release of a second model from their new PGD projector series, the PG-D3750W projector. The PDG3750W is a low cost professional projector suitable for installation, and thanks to its in-built carry handle also suited well for mobile use.
BrilliantColour™ technology delivers superb image brilliance and vastly superior colour nuances. Adding to the excellent picture quality is an outstanding brightness of 3700 ANSI lumens and a 2200:1 contrast ratio to deliver a clear and crisp projection in nearly any lighting condition.
Offering excellent presentation performance for classroom and conference room applications, the PG-D3750W features a Wide-XGA (1280 x 800) image with 1080p capability. HDTV compatibility and extensive connectivity make it the perfect solution for displaying images from a variety of input sources: PCs, HD set top boxes, Blu-ray and DVD players, game consoles, etc. The projector includes an HDMI terminal, two RGB component inputs, S-video, composite video and stereo audio, an RS-232C port and a USB input for mouse control. There is also an RJ-45 LAN connection for remote control and web browser access for diagnostics and automatic email of product status.
Inbuilt high power output stereo speakers (5W per channel) are sufficient for use without the need for a peripheral audio system in some situations, contributing to total installation cost savings. Low maintenance filter-free design with sealed DLP optical system further contributes to low total cost of ownership.
Other useful features include theft deterrent system lock, key lock function as well as presentation assist functions by remote control (page up/down, pointer, spotlight and mouse control).
The Sharp PG-D3750W projector is available now from leading AV specialists and retailers at $3,299 RRP.
