Pictures and videos of the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL have surfaced. And if we were Mercedes-Benz, we would be pretty damn keen on showing everyone we possibly could as well.
The new Mercedes-Benz SL will be powered by a 4.6 litre V8 pushing out 429HP (225kW). That would mean a 0-100kph time around 4.5 seconds… no biggie (ahem). It will also feature Merc’s Magic Sky Control roof and a new sharper design with enormous Mercedes-Benz badge up front, you know, just in case people weren’t already aware of the fact that you swim in money.
The new car’s body is entirely constructed out of aluminium, saving around 140kg of weight. With that type of saving even Michael Schumacher might be able to keep up with the pace in this Mercedes (sorry Mercedes-Benz F1 team fans).
