Luxury camping at Paperbark Camp, Jervis Bay, NSW

Want to get in touch with nature this year but don’t want to go to the trouble of pitching a tent and showering from a bag suspended by a tree? Then luxury camping at Jervis Bay, NSW, may be for you.

Paperbark Camp has created the ultimate luxury camping experience on the New South Wales South Coast. Located around two hours south of Sydney and positioned right in the middle of the bush, Paperbark Camp lets you camp under the stars on a king or queen bed, have a nice hot shower in your private ensuite with views of the bush, relax on your own timber deck and enjoy the comforts afforded by most luxury hotels. The only difference is your accommodation is in a canvas tent.

There are deluxe and original tents with different bedding options to cater for a variety of needs and budgets. While staying at Paperbark Camp you will also get to enjoy The Gunyah Restaurant while admiring the scenery. It’s positioned conveniently at the base of the camp site so you won’t have to try and start a fire to cook your meals. According to the website, “Our current menus reflect a modern European influence on local grown and sourced produce, and change regularly according to the season.”

Still feeling stressed? Why not grab a massage in your tent ($70) or take a picnic hamper to the water ($25). This could possibly the easiest and most comfortable way to get in touch with nature.

Price: From $370 per night twin share
