BMC Impec Automobili Lamborghini Edition bicycle launched

Want to get into cycling but think bicycles look a bit to same same? The BMC Impec Automobili Lamborghini Edition is the bike for you… if you have serious amounts of cash and are really, really quick to get down to your local BMC dealer!

The BMC Impec Automobili Lamborghini Edition is the first attempt Lamborghini has made to get into the pedal power. The bikes has an Aussie connection as well as it is based on Cadel Evan’s Tour de France winning model. The standard BMC Impec will already set you back a handy $17,900 but if you want to get your hands around the Lamborghini tuned model, you’ll be looking at an eye watering $25,300. Best not look for too long then.

Exactly why would you want to spend on a bike what could get you in a Mazda 3, Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla or any number of small cars with change? Well, you would want to be a mad cyclist or a crazy millionaire first. Then you would take into account the carbon fibre frame, custom handles and brake hoods, seat that is covered in Lamborghini suede (leather wouldn’t do to well in wet weather), 60mm Mavic Cosmic aero rims and Shimano DuraAce Di2 electronic groupset. To be fair, most of that means nothing to us. But the fact it comes in Aventador “Argos Orange” colour is pretty cool.

The BMC Impec Automobili Lamborghini Edition is touted as being the first in a long line of Lamborghini inspired BMC bikes. Oh, and if you want to know what BMC stands for, try Bicycle Manufacturing Company. Original, eh!

Want one? Hurry up, only 30 are being built!
