Sauber F1 Team splits an F1 car in half

At the end of the 2009 season BMW pulled out of Formula 1, leaving its BMW Sauber F1 team as just the Sauber F1 Team. To spite BMW, Sauber has split one of the old BMW Sauber cars in two. Only half of that statement is true. You can probably guess which one.

The Swiss Sauber F1 Team took the chainsaw to the old 2008 F1.08 car. It took two years to do but the team has managed to split it almost perfectly down the middle and explains all the workings of the car in this eight minute video. If you’re a fan of Formula 1 or just cars in general, you need to see this video now.
