The television is essentially a Kogan 42-inch LED backlit LCD screen, but instead of the Kogan badge on the bottom of the front bezel, it has the Collingwood club’s Magpie logo. A similar logo can be found on the television’s remote.
This is, without a doubt, a brilliant idea. With the exception of Apple, the days of buying a consumer electronics device for the branding badge are mostly over. But owning a television badged with your favourite footy club? Genius.
The television itself sells for $449, which includes a Collingwood bonus of a club polo, cap and scarf for members and a Magpie Insiders membership for non-members.
Now, if only we can get Kogan to offer a similar product for a real sporting team…
