Mates Rates: Bonus pair of Beats headphones with a HTC One X or One S from Virgin

The HTC One X is one of the best smartphones on the market today, and its little brother the One S is almost as nice. While you can grab either phone from a range of telcos on a variety of plans, Virgin is the only network throwing in a bonus pair of Beats headphones.

Virgin are offering a free pair of Beats Solo headphones, worth $279, when you sign up for a One X or One S on a 24 month contract. If you want to avoid paying a monthly fee for the handset, plans start at $49 for the One X and $39 a month for the One S. Given how good the phones are, this is a pretty sweet deal, no matter which way you look at it. The offer ends at the end of July, unless stocks run out sooner.
